Makerspace Update

The Stage 3 Makerspace Guides had their final training session on Monday 15 August and got to do some computer coding. They used a program called ‘Scratch’ to create a code for a little character or ‘sprite’. They had lots of fun getting their sprite to move around and make sounds. The Makerspace Guides will help the students during Makerspace sessions.

32 students have been chosen to work in the Makerspace for the first round. All students who put their name down to participate in an activity will have the chance to work in the Makerspace.

The Makerspace will be in the library at lunchtime on Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays.

We look forward to working with students in the creative, dynamic and fun, Makerspace.
