Mr Jo Jo, the scarecrow has a new shirt; time for the chives to be pulled out to make room for the summer vegies and a blue-tongued lizard paid a visit … all this took place in Bluey’s Patch, in Week 8!
On Wednesday 17 November, nine Stage 3 students were nominated by their Teachers, to participate in a special Creating Session with Mrs Sammut and Miss Clare and to enjoy a tasty treat!
“Many hands make light work” so the saying goes and Bluey’s Patch was buzzing with activity once again!
Since returning to school, Kindy has been super busy being authors.
During Drama, Stage 1 have learnt about the techniques of Tableaux (frozen statues), Hot Seat, Role Play and Mime.
Stage 3 have been working on various collaborative tasks since returning to school.
This week in Stage 2 focused on mindfulness and learned about the benefits of yoga. Stage 2 practiced mindful breathing, inhaling and exhaling deeply.
The ‘Hand-Over’ from the Term 2 Environment Team is now complete and the new Term 4 Team are ready to take up the challenge!
While the students are diligently learning from home, the school garden is in isolation … never-the-less the work goes on!
