For a number of years, our Catholic community has been working together on a new approach to sharing faith with children and young people in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains. Yesterday St Bernadette's students presented the events of Holy Week during our Liturgy.
In late February, Catholic Youth Parramatta (CYP) hosted their regular LIFTED sessions online, featuring music, prayer, reflection and action for primary school students, Year 12 leaders, young adults and Faith in Action Team (FIAT) teachers across the Diocese of Parramatta. On Wednesday, Stage 3 participated in an Ash Wednesday liturgy with Fr Andrew.
Today we came together as a whole school community to acknowledge our new school leaders and welcome all our new Kindergarten students.
This term, Stage Two have begun to investigate the role of forgiveness and mercy in their everyday life.

Kindergarten had a fantastic time designing and creating Jesus cards last week. On Friday we had a Prayer Circle in our shared space and the students were able to bring their Jesus cards along.
